I do not wish to become posessed by an evil spirit, so No, Thank You! I absolutely love Melanie's blog and videos. I love that she taught me how loving myself and healing myself can help me. However, I do not like that the method of healing she proposes in her book is a pseudoscientific anti-psychology method unproven by any use of the scientific method. It is connected to a "doctor" who is a pseudoscientist claiming an expertise in epigenics. He believes that there are 7 mothods of healing (like the 7 paths of hindu healing). This is Buddhist or Hindu eastern energy healing via "clearing the mind," a method which allows a spirit cast out of heaven with Satan (an evil spirit) to come into your mind.I know Melanie means well. I am sure she does not know that Hinduism/ Buddhism is not Christian when she tells us that we can use her method with any higher power we believe in.My higher powers are the Godhead: Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. I do not believe in "clearing my mind" or meditating. I do not believe in energy healing or chakras or reiki. I do not wish to become posessed by an evil spirit. No, thank you.I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I am sad to have wasted my money on a book that is a lead-in to eastern religions which have beliefs contrary to mine.You can do this, I promise. As an extremely successful and respected professional, I found myself in the middle of a relationship that I wanted to leave but did not understand why I could not find the strength to let go.
