Engaging domestic thriller A great domestic thriller with engaging well developed characters.Suzi/Nora/Elle three characters whose lives will be tangled up together in ways that weren't least expected.Suzi is pregnant and suffers from her obsessively jealous control freak of a husband who practically imprisoned her in their country home. Then a new neighbor "Nora" moves in and Suzi couldn't be happier to have someone to confide in, big mistake!Then there is Elle who seems to be having the perfect life, but this is just a facade.When those women's lives collide, there is a chain reaction of lies, betrayals, backstabbing, revenge and much more.I was really invested in this story, but my only quibble was with the pace.I felt that a more tighter writing would have sped up the pace, because there was a long gap between a twist and its denouement which took away from the shock value. Regardless I would recommend this book as it is both unique and engrossing.I voluntarily reviewed this book through Netgalley, thanks Amazon Publishing UK, and author Claire McGowan.The Other Wife I debated about giving The Other Wife 2 or 3 stars. The plot was interesting, but in my opinion author, Claire McGowan, had too much back and forth in time and too many points of view. I was given an early copy to review.
