Please read and follow specifications on the Power Supply sheet included in the box to ensure optimal performance. Battery must be new, or, if using rechargeable, must be fully charged.

So disappointed I pre-ordered this back in June.. Finally got it today (October 3).. I was so excited to get this thing.. It doesn't work well AT ALL. If you choose to plug it in (no adapters included) the fan is super weak.. Not strong enough to inflate him at all! If you put a 9 volt in it, the fan is A LITTLE stronger, but he still just flops over. He doesn't wave around at all. Just a loud fan with a flopped over, barely inflated tube. So disappointed.It's JUST Short of enough power, sadly- You'll use your hand frequently to stand him up. Waited, blah blah, arrived: Pretty cool, with 1 BIG issue. The fan is not designed properly to pull air in efficiently. It should have slightly angled fins to suck air- Instead, it gets air but is made such that there is a LOT of turbulence going in & that drastically affects the flow. As usual, I'd like to slap the engineer... This would be getting all 100% reviews if it moved 10% more air. With a BRAND NEW, NAME BRAND battery it'll go pretty good, but as soon as I realized I'd be frequently using my hand to stand him up the love affair was over. It simply does not work properly. Thus, 2 stars is all I can give. And I'll thank the 'holes who post & say that people with issues should stop crying since it's only 'A Toy' and was only '12 bucks'- Screw you, I paid for something that should work properly & you have zero right to dismiss my or anyone else's review, so get off your high horse.Works perfectly with correct adapter or battery My son is in love with the “balloon guy” we pass several times a week on our way to my daughters school. When I saw this I knew he had to have it so I preordered and waited.Firstly, I believe many of the problems people are having with power is due to the fact that they are probably not using the correct adaptor. Not all adaptors have the same output/voltage and when I tried one that was lower than what is recommended I experienced what others have said here. Basically little to no movement, flopped over, etc. Once I put a brand new 9v battery in the guy came to life just like the real deal. So please check the paperwork included and compare it to the label on your adaptor before using it; just because it fits doesn’t mean it’s correct.The booklet was also a fun read - I enjoyed learning about where this guy came from and how he gained in popularity. Needless to say my son is ecstatic...currently he’s sleeping with his “balloon guy” right next him.
