Who is Missing? Lee Callaway is really challenged in solving this mystery. He is paid without regard to what he needs to do with a missing mistress when he finds her. Nevertheless he is committed to finding this Lana Anderson and he won’t give up looking for her. Meanwhile his detective “friends” have other mysteries to solve that splits up the team. Ms. Fisher and Holt each have their brains working overtime to solve their cases. Lee does help Holt solve his case and Fisher works with another detective to find the truth. This a great read with several crossroads of possibilities and just when you think you know the outcome, you find out the truth.Great who dun it and why; if you like mysteries, you'll love this one! I love Thomas Fincham mysteries, especially the Lee Calloway books! In this who dun it, Lee's mission is to find the mistress of a respected lawyer, who has jumped off an overpass to end his life and she holds the clue as to why this has happened! Calloway also has a personal life he's dealing with and this shows us the human side that we often don't see in detectives in the midst of solving a difficult case. But best of all; Fincham gives us that down to the wire twist that diehard mystery lovers wait for, unless we've figured it out before then. I can't wait for the next Lee Calloway mystery!Great detective - lousy father The Missing Mistress is the fifth book in the Lee Callaway series. Lee is the anti-hero you’ll grow to love (but he is a lousy father). This is fast-paced action mystery featuring multiple storylines. Unlike previous books, the only connection between them is their work relationships. I liked seeing how Holt and Lee solved the mystery from two different directions. I have read most of Thomas Fincham’s books. His writing style is unique with complex mysteries and characters. I also appreciated the glimpse of Echo Rose (another great series). Lee is evolving and trying to become a better father and family man. Holt is also evolving and becoming more human as we see more of his backstory. This is another great book in the Lee Callaway Series that won’t disappoint. Please don’t let it be the last. Lee has more evolving to do.
